CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS
Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who: (a) are members in good standing of a PNGA member club; (b) are 40 years of age or older on or before June 26, 2018; and (c) have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor not exceeding 16.4 at the close of entry.
Format: The championship will be conducted in two stages:
Lodging: Onsite player lodging is available at The Retreat at Silvies Valley Ranch on a first come/serve basis. Reservations must be made over the phone at 1-(800) SILVIES.
Silvies Retreat Rooms
Double King Room (2 people) $340 or $170 each
Single King Room (1 person) $200 each
Twin Cabin Suite w/ 2 King Beds (2 people) $500 or $250 each

Stoke Play – All players must complete the 18-hole stroke play qualifying. All flights and seeds will be determined by 18-hole qualifying scores. In the event of a tie for the Qualifying Medalist, duplicate medals will be awarded and seeding will be determined randomly. In the event of a tie for the final spot(s) in the Championship Flight, a sudden-death playoff will be used to determine the qualifier(s). Ties, other than for the final spots(s) in the Championship Flight, will be determined randomly. *All players advance to match play.
Match Play – The General Numerical Draw will be in effect. All matches are 18 holes and will be played at scratch (no handicaps). The Championship Flight will play two 18-hole matches (if you continue to win) Wednesday and Thursday, and an 18-hole Championship Match on Friday. Remaining flights will play one 18-hole match each day.
Note: This is a single elimination format.
Age Limit: Entrants must be 40 years of age or older by June 26, 2018.
Handicap Limit: Entrants must have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor of 16.4 or less at the time of entry.
Field Limit: 72 (Field fill method: Exempt players followed by order of entry receipt)
Entry Fee: $225.00 (U.S. Funds)
Cart Fee: $25 per player / per day. Players staying at Silvies Retreat will have a golf cart included in their stay. Players staying offsite will need to park their car at the Gatehouse and rent a cart for $25/day or be shuttled to the golf course if planning to walk during the round.
Entry Deadline: June 5, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. (PDT)
Entry Includes: Guaranteed a minimum of two rounds of championship play including both stroke play and match play, one hosted practice round, warm up range balls each day, tee prize, lunch following round one play, Kusak crystal for top finishers and all flight champions and flight runner-ups.
**Entrants must be a member in good standing of a PNGA member club.
